Communities, projects and user groups are invited to come to Hannover during the CeBIT fair, gather in the space:d, discuss ongoing and new projects at a barcamp and actually work on projects during a hackathon. In the foreground: attractive gadgets of all kinds and working with them.
Attendance is free – you only need to register below for a free CeBIT entrance ticket.
What is the Developer Playground@space:?
CeBIT Barcamp
Developer Playground@space:d is a cross-platform hardware event. At the barcamp, we expect talks and workshops about what can be done with connected Platforms like Arduino and Raspberry Pi, toy platforms like Lego Mindstorms, but also common tablets, smartphones and other devices.
CeBIT Hackathon
Working with hardware is also in the focus of the CeBIT hackathon, including programming and controlling all kinds of devices: tablets, phones, phablets, Smart TVs, Smart Watches, Kinect systems, etc.
Community gathering
Developer Playground@space:d is the meeting place of communities dealing with all kinds of programmable hardware. Here’s where you can see and talk to birds of a feather – in person as well as in projects. Maybe you just couldn’t agree on a location up to now?
Hands-on Hardware event
Manufactures and distributors will provide the most up-to-date devices and offer hardware prizes. Communities and developers as well may bring their hardware to demonstrate their own project and let others try it out. All in all, here’s the opportunity to keep track of new technologies and delve into new hardware.
